Who makes Luxetreats products and where are you based?

Luxetreats, primarily crafted by Rashida, our owner, is managed by a dedicated team of three. We're eager to expand our team to better meet your increasing demands! Our creations are freshly baked and adorned upon order at our cozy home bakery in Sittingbourne. We pride ourselves on using premium ingredients, such as free-range eggs, French butter, organic cocoa, Belgian chocolate, and locally-sourced fruits from nearby farms in Sittingbourne. Our approach is hands-on and personal: we steer clear of production lines and heavy machinery. Instead, we focus on daily, small-batch baking, with each cake being individually iced. This meticulous process might take a bit longer, but it ensures a superior taste in every bite.

How long will my Treats keep for?

  1. Cakes and Cupcakes 

Our products are crafted without any artificial preservatives, and for the optimal taste experience, we suggest enjoying them on the same day they're made.

Cakes and Cupcakes: After you've picked them up, keep the cakes and cupcakes in their boxes at room temperature. In case of hot weather, storing them in the refrigerator is advised.

If you do refrigerate a cake, remember to let it reach room temperature before serving. Note that larger cakes might need several hours to warm up. Should you have any cupcakes remaining, they will remain fresh for about a day in their box, or slightly longer in an airtight container. Freezing our cakes is not something we recommend.

       2. Cookies

 Our cookies are freshly baked and shipped overnight, just in time for your order.

For the best flavor, we suggest warming the cookies for 5 minutes at 180°C, although they are also delightful at room temperature.

 

3. Do you offer a delivery service?

Postal brownies/cookies are delivered via Royal Mail 24 Tracked. 

Cakes and cupcakes are free delivery for ME10 and surrounding areas of up to a 5 mile radius. Delivery is only available for a fee in Kent, London and Essex.

Growing up, Rashida was surrounded by the art of baking through her mum — a trained baker who studied at culinary school.

Some of her fondest memories were made watching, learning, and practicing side by side with her mother in the kitchen. Those early experiences planted the seed for what Luxetreats would one day become.

Years later, during lockdown, what began as a simple request from her sister for a birthday cake quickly turned into something more. With boldness and belief in her craft, Rashida began creating cakes for others — and as word spread, orders followed. What started with one cake quickly grew into something much bigger, laying the foundation for Luxetreats.

Luxury, to us, is found in the little things - in the quiet moments spent perfecting each recipe, in the care behind every finish, and in the love that goes into every bake. It’s about bringing you that comforting, homemade feeling, thoughtfully crafted in our kitchen and delivered to yours.

Today, Luxetreats has grown into an award-winning bakery, proudly recognised as Home Bakery of the Year Kent 2026/2027. From luxury custom cakes to our signature Cake & Sip experiences, every creation is made with intention, creativity, and care.

What started small has blossomed into a brand trusted by customers across Kent, London, and surrounding areas — all thanks to the continued support of our amazing community.
